Pay-TV penetration now stands at around 60% in Croatia.
According to the latest data published by the regulator HAKOM, 30.2% of TV households received IPTV services as of the end of the second quarter, while 12% opted for cable, 9.8% DTH and 7% pay-DTT.
Two in five (40.9%) relied solely on free terrestrial TV services.
HAKOM also notes that pay-TV revenues in the first half of this year were 4% higher than in the same period last year.
During H1, operators invested 4% more in electronic communications than in the same period in 2020, while fibre access infrastructure investment increased by 121%.
Total revenues in the electronic communications market also increased by 5%.
