The Czech service O2 TV can now be watched on LG smart TVs manufactured from 2017 onwards.
Commenting on the development, Dana Tomaskova, O2 TV and digital services director, said: “Currently, several hundred thousand LG smart TVs are connected to the internet in the Czech Republic. We are targeting their owners with a new application that we have decided to launch for the existing O2 TV platform”.
Speaking about the application, which can be used by both new and existing customers, she added: “O2 TV customers simply download the application in the LG Content Store and then log in using their login details, newcomers can try the service for a month for free and without obligation”.
Anyone who buys an LG OLED TV model from September 27 to December 19 will receive O2 TV Stribna for CZK3 (€0.08) for three months.
