The online video and TV services provider Megogo and sports betting brand Parimatch Ukraine have entered into a global partnership aimed at promoting legal reviews of sporting events.
Together, the two companies will fight online piracy.
Megogo and Parimatch Ukraine also plan to implement a number of large-scale projects that will be a quality addition to the top matches of the Champions League.
According to Ivan Shestakov, strategic development director of Megogo, “Legal sport in Ukraine is an important component, because that is how we shape the future of the industry. Sports broadcasts play a key role in the development of the entire sports ecosystem and, in particular, in attracting investment in this sector. We often say that legality is in the DNA of our company. Therefore, we will continue to actively develop and improve legal consumption in the country”.
Natalia Gilevich, CEO of Parimatch Ukraine, added: “We, as the first and only legal bookmaker in the country, continue to support Ukrainian sports at all levels: professional, regional, amateur. All these significant investments in Ukrainian football, its accessibility for everyone and its popularisation is part of our strategy for sustainable development of sports at the national level and in the regions. The partnership with the largest media service Megogo is a logical continuation of this work. We support legal content and are interested in Ukrainians watching football and relaxing only with legal services on the market”.
