Brian Jentz joins 3SS to drive growth in the Americas

September 13, 2021 10.32 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

German multiscreen software solutions provider 3 Screen Solutions (3SS) has appointed Brian Jentz as Vice President Americas.

From his Midwest base in Indiana, Jentz will spearhead 3SS’ commercial growth strategy in the USA, Canada and across Latin America. Jentz’ appointment sees him lead 3SS expansion strategy in North and South America. He brings a wealth of experience to 3SS, most recently serving as Vice President, Video Product Unit at Technicolor.

3SS has expanded its footprint in the Americas in recent times; in April 2021, FreeCast selected 3SS to transform the user experience (UX) of its all-OTT aggregated consumer platform, SelectTV. In May 2021, 3SS delivered the next-gen TCC VIVO-ZetaTV platform for TCC for customers in Uruguay and Argentina. A number of other sizeable deployments in the Americas region will shortly be announced, according to the company.

“I am thrilled to join 3SS at such an exciting time,” said Jentz. “There is real momentum happening at 3SS, and it’s plain to see that the company’s engineering and technology, situated at the heart of the 3Ready entertainment ecosystem, are increasingly regarded as the best foundation on which to build next-gen TV experiences which people love.”

“Supporting operators is front and centre of 3SS’ business strategy, and we eagerly look forward to empowering more service providers across the Americas region with the means to deliver advanced, world-class entertainment UX to consumers,” Jentz added.
