Channel 4 is considering plans to expand its All 4 streaming service outside the UK.
The publicly-owned broadcaster has set itself a target to generate at least 30% of revenues from digital advertising by 2025, a figure that is currently projected at 19% for this year.
Channel 4 opened its new headquarters in Leeds on Monday as it continues to fight government plans to sell the broadcaster.
Around 200 of Channel 4’s 912 stall will work out of the former nightclub in the northern city. However, chief executive Alex Mahon will continue to work out of London, spending time in Leeds and recently created hubs in Bristol and Glasgow.
In addition to the advertising supported All 4 – positioned as the UK’s largest free streaming service – Channel 4 also runs an advertising free version called All4+ priced at £3.99 a month.
