Russia’s Beeline TV service ended the second quarter with 3 million subscribers, or 23.6% more than in the same period last year.
In its latest set of results, Beeline TV’s owner Veon says that the growth reflected its expanded content offering, as well as targeted customer propositions supported by an advanced customer recommendation engine.
Meanwhile in Ukraine, Veon’s Kyivstar TV service grew its customer base to 426,000 as of June 30.
Veon, which is registered in the Netherland and also has a presence in Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Bangladesh and Uzbekistan, had total revenues of $2,065 million in Q2, or 9.2% more than a year earlier.
