CNN International plans to leave Virgin Media, BT TV and Freesat following the launch of its new streaming service last June.
CNN Live is priced at £1.99 a month or £19.90 a year.
“As of 1 September, CNN International will be available to UK viewers via a livestream at CNN.com as well as on Sky TV,” the broadcaster said in a statement released to Broadband TV News.
In means the broadcaster, once known as the Cable News Network, will no longer be available on UK cable.
CNN Live is available on mobile and desktop. It will initially be streamed ad-free, though an ad supported product is under consideration.
There is already a separate product available to US audiences, affiliated to local cable networks.
