Managerial changes at Slovak Telekom

August 18, 2021 07.59 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Slovak Telekom has confirmed a number of managerial appointments and changes in its structure.

Zive reports that Vladan Pekovic will become the director of IT and Technology. Replacing Branimir Maric at the end of this month, he will also hold the same position at T-Mobile in the Czech Republic. Pekovic has been with the Deutsche Telekom group since 2009 and is currently CEO at Telekom Romania.

Meanwhile, following the division of Slovak Telekom’s commercial division into two parts, Peter Laco will become the head of the Enterprise Market (B2B) part. In what is a newly created role, he will be in charge of the entire B2B segment.

In another appointment, Mladem Mitic will become director of the Mass Market division, effective the second half of September.

Replacing Dusan Svalek, he will join from Deutsche Telekom, having previously worked for TDC in Denmark and Telenor in Norway.
