German cable association Deutsche Netzmarketing (DNMG) will offer cable and fibre network operators the pay-TV music channel Stingray iConcerts HD for distribution for the first time in Germany from October 2021.
The channel will be added to the DNMG portfolio as part of the expansion of the cooperation with Canadian media group Stingray.
Also new is the Stingray Music package with 50 channels of different styles from rock, pop and country to R&B, jazz and hip-hop.
Stingray iConcerts HD shows live concerts, music documentaries and star interviews and can already be received in around 250 million cable households worldwide. In Germany, the channel has so far only been available on streaming service Watch it!.
Stingray Music provides over 76 million cable households worldwide with special-interest channels compiled by music experts.
Through the Stingray Music OTT app, which is available in parallel, network operators can also accompany their customers outside their local coverage area, for example on the way to work, while doing sports or in the car.
With more than 200 affiliated network operators, DNMG is the largest marketing organisation for medium-sized and municipal operators of cable and fibre-optic networks in German-speaking countries.
