FilmBox+ reaches 1m subs

August 13, 2021 10.10 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The SPI/FilmBox enhanced streaming service FilmBox+, which was launched in February this year, now already reaches over 1 million subscribers worldwide.

Offering hundreds of hours of curated premium on-demand titles and 10 channels covering a wide array of content, it has so far been integrated with 10 major European operators and SPI is committed to achieving full integration with its 700+ operator partners around the globe.

Commenting on the milestone, Haymi Behar, CMO at SPI International, said: “The service currently boasts a catalogue of over 5,000 titles ranging from movies to lifestyle content, offering around 8,000 hours of riveting programming. We are working around the clock to acquire new, premium content spanning all genres from major global distributors, including local titles for different territories to add to our FilmBox+ streaming service”.

He added: “We are committed to delivering excellent entertainment experiences on all screens for our audiences globally. FilmBox+ is designed to do just that. We provide seamless integration between the screens allowing users to enjoy content wherever they are, whenever they want.

“FilmBox+ is powered by cutting edge technology that prioritises utility and ease of use for the viewer. The newly implemented facelift that utilises modern design elements is in line with our commitment to making the user experience as easy, intuitive and enjoyable as possible across all screens”.

FilmBox+ is offered in 12 languages (English, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Macedonian, Albanian, Croatian and Turkish), with Russian and Korean being introduced soon.
