The German Ultra HD channel ProSiebenSat.1 UHD, which launches today, can also be received on Deutsche Telekom’s TV platform MagentaTV.
The channel’s addition to the line-up is part of an extended and expanded partnership agreed between Seven.One Entertainment Group and the telco. After Astra satellite platform HD+, Deutsche Telekom is the second distribution partner of ProSiebenSat.1 UHD; others are expected to follow.
The long-term agreement also includes the continued carriage of Seven.One’s free-TV and pay-TV channels and their catch-up services on MagentaTV, as well as a cooperation in the area of addressable TV regarding the group’s on-demand content on the MagentaTV platform.
