Turk Telekom ended the second quarter with a total TV customers base of 3,013,000, including Tivibu GO.
This, according to the company in its latest set of results, was down from 3,285,000 in the same period last year. At the same time, TV ARPU rose from TL19 (€1.87) to TL21.6.
Turk Telekom also had a total of 13.8 million fixed broadband subscribers at the end of Q2, up from 12.2 million a year earlier. Of these, 8.1 million (4.8 million) were fibre and 5.7 million (7.4 million) DSL.
The group had total revenues of TL8,181 million in Q2, up from TL6,969 million a year earlier, while its EBITDA increased from TL3,237 million.
Its net income increased from TL980 million to TL1,272 million, though the latter was down from TL1,356 million in Q1 this year.
