Jaroslaw Starczewski has joined the management board of Liberty Global’s UPC Polska, assuming the newly created position of VP for business development on August 1.
He takes over responsibility for the B2B area, including the SE, ML and WHS segments, as well as market development and footprint expansion.
Starczewski is a senior manager with extensive experience in the telecom industry. During his professional career, he has held a number of managerial and supervisory positions. He was, inter alia, VP and president of Exatel, a telecom company that manages one of the largest backbone fibre networks in Poland, and president of telecom operator NOM. In his last role, he oversaw the operator markets in Orange Polska as executive director, responsible for managing Orange Polska’s sales to wholesale telecom operators in Poland and abroad, as well as managing the full portfolio of wholesale products.
