Redge Media, the technology platform for building online TV, has been verified as compliant with IAB standards for EU GDPR regulations.
The platform implements Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF 2.0) guidelines and acts as Consent Management Platform (CMP). The IAB Framework assures transparency and greater control over personal data within AVOD/FAST services.
According to Radoslaw Jozwik, Multimedia Solutions Department director, “Redge Media provides the GDPR consent tool that becomes visible to the user upon the first visit. Then the user is not bothered. If the user wishes to alter the settings later on, he may easily do so from our multiscreen applications”.
Redge Media powers the AVOD operations of TVN Discovery player.pl and TV3 Play, the AVOD service of TV3 Baltics. The platform is designed and developed by the company Redge Technologies.
