Telecom Italia (TIM) is planning to submit suggestions to the Italian competition authority (AGCM) following the latter’s opening of an investigation into a controversial agreement between the telco and sports streaming service DAZN.
According to Reuters, quoting sources close to the matter, one would be a commitment to not bundle its broadband offer with TIM Vision’s pay-TV services.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News, AGCM launched its investigation earlier this month into DAZN’s agreement to screen Serie A football amid concerns it could restrict competition.
The agreement, which was signed in March this year, resulted in TIM updating its financial targets.
