ScreenHits TV adds Joyn in Germany

July 20, 2021 19.51 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

ScreenHits TV will offer Joyn, the streaming service operated by ProSiebenSat.1 and Discovery, on its aggregator platform when it launches in Germany at the end of July 2021.

The move, spearheaded by Ramy Nasser, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Partnerships at ScreenHits TV, is part of the content curator’s global rollout across Europe, the Indian sub-continent, Latin and North America.

The partnership with Joyn, which covers the platform’s full range of SVOD and AVOD offerings including content from third parties such as Comedy Central and Red Bull TV, will be followed by collaborations with further market players.

ScreenHits TV will give users an overview of all the partners’ content at a glance on www.screenhitstv.com and via the app. Users will find all Joyn originals and exclusives on demand, regardless of whether they are already part of the Joyn community.

The content can be accessed for free on a browser or with a technical access fee via the ScreenHits TV app, where – after choosing Joyn – users will automatically be taken to its app. Viewers can also stream exclusive content with access to premium service Joyn Plus+.

Launched by CEO Rose Adkins Hulse, ScreenHits TV is a streaming aggregator allowing subscribers to integrate streaming services including Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Britbox, BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, Kidoodle and Eurosport in one app. The platform is available via the browser and on the Amazon Fire TV stick, Roku stick, Apple Store, Google Chromecast, iOS, Android and Metz Smart TVs.
