German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland will launch the new thematic channels Sky Nature and Sky Documentaries on September 9, 2021.
The two channels will be available as linear 24/7 services in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the broadcaster announced at an online press conference. They will also offer on-demand content.
Sky Nature will show programmes from partners such as the BBC, ZDF Enterprises and Love Nature, while Sky Documentaries will screen content from sources like HBO and Showtime as well as Sky original productions.
Both channels are already available on Sky UK.
