Golf Channel joins PostTV Luxembourg

July 9, 2021 22.42 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

French media company Mediawan has made the Golf Channel available on PostTV, Luxembourg’s largest TV platform.

This has been announced by Alteox Media Consulting, the exclusive content provider and technical partner of POST Luxembourg. The channel is available in the Entertain Me! package that offers over 100 channels in English, German, French and other languages and allows subscribers to personalise their bundle by adding and removing channels independently each month.

Golf Channel, available in full HD, joins the 14 other Mediawan channel brands already present on PostTV. Created in partnership with NBC Universal, Golf Channel is the first French channel entirely dedicated to live golf competitions and golfing lifestyle.

The channel broadcasts a large selection of international competitions live including LPGA, LET, Solheim Cup, NCAA and WLD. The schedule also contains news coverage, live broadcasts from the courses and daily morning shows. Viewers have access to exclusive coaching sessions, tips and advice from well-known players and coaches like Martin Hall or Chris Como.

“Mediawan Thematics is excited to bring a new addition to POST Luxembourg’s sports line-up. After a slow year in terms of competition because of the pandemic, we are back to offering viewers 80% of airtime dedicated to live broadcasts,” said Vincent Grynbaum, General Manager, Mediawan Thematics.
