TimVision reveals DAZN and Mediaset pricing

July 2, 2021 09.37 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Telecom Italia’s TimVision has given details of its new TV packages ahead of the move of Serie A football to streaming service DAZN.

Through until the end of July the IPTV platform is running a promotional offer at €19.99 per month for 12 months that includes all entertainment content from TimVision, DAZN and Mediaset Infinity. The TimVision Gold package at €34.99 per month also includes Disney+ and Netflix.

After 28 July the list price for TimVision, DAZN and Mediaset Infinity will be €29.99 per month, while the full package will cost €44.99 per month.

DAZN, backed by billionaire Len Blavatnik, will pay €840 million per season for the next three years. The streamer has secured exclusive rights to seven out of the 10 weekly matches between 2021/22 and 2023/24.

The three remaining weekly games will be shown on both DAZN and Sky Sport.

TIMVISION Calcio e Sport combines Serie A coverage, alongside the UEFA Europa League and the new Conference League, Spanish Liga, the FA Cup and MotoGP with Mediaset Infinity that will feature 104 UEFA Champion’s League matches.

Calcio e Sport is priced at €19.99 per month for 12 months and customers will start their subscription on 1 September.

Earlier this week, Mediaset and TIM signed a multi-year agreement for the non-exclusive distribution of the Mediaset Infinity app on the TIMVISION platform.

A new Android TV set-top box includes Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and DVB-T2 tuner.

The TimVision Box allows customers to access digital terrestrial channels, TimVision content and that of its partners such as DAZN, Disney+, Netflix, Mediaset Infinity and, in addition, easily download any Android TV app available on the Google Play Store.
