IPTV accounted for over half (56.6%) of pay-TV connections in Slovenia in the last quarter of 2020.
According to the regulator AKOS, its share grew in Q4, while those of other technologies fell or stagnated.
Cable accounted for 37.5%, satellite TV 5% and MMDS 0.9%. Meanwhile, the largest number of broadband users (42.3%, up 2.5%) in Slovenia in Q4 2020 opted for access speeds of at least 100 Mbps.
The share with access speeds of 30 – under 100 Mbps (25.5%) also increased in the quarter, while those for lower speeds fell.
