Amazon has successfully moved from parcels into streaming, so it seems entirely logical that Netflix might move in the opposite direction.
The company has launched Netflix.shop, initially in the United States, and later rolling out to international markets.
It featured limited editions of clothing and lifestyle products associated with the streamer’s content.
Among the launch items are streetwear and action figures based on anime series Yasuke and Eden; as well as limited-edition apparel and decorative items inspired by Lupin in collaboration with the Musée du Louvre.
Netflix.shop is also introducing a collection of anime-inspired collectibles from a remarkable group of up-and-coming designers: Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites and Jordan Bentley.
Later, there are plans to launch products linked to The Witcher and Stranger Things, as well as new Netflix logo-wear from Japanese fashion house BEAMS.
