Canal sits alongside M7 in brand refresh

June 8, 2021 12.52 Europe/London By Julian Clover

M7, the leading provider of TV entertainment services for Germany’s cable and IP networks, has launched a new brand image.

The refresh builds on the connection with Canal+, which acquired the company in 2019.

“We are proud to be part of one of the largest and most successful media groups in Europe with Canal+, which will continue to drive M7’s growth in the German-speaking markets. This is now also reflected in our new brand design,” said Marco Hellberg, Managing Director of Eviso Germany GmbH, the M7 Business Partner in Germany.

M7 has also expanded its portfolio of services in the German market with interactive features including restart, time-shift and recording being added to the 20-channel BASISHD. The multiscreen function brings the channels to smartphones, tablets, PCs, Fire TV sticks and other end devices.

Over the past 12 months, M7 has acquired 11 new network operators as customers taking the total number of customers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg to over 150.

The operator is one of those participating in the online ANGA Digital this week (June 8-10).
