Starz has appointed Linnea Hemenez senior VP of international marketing to the Starz International Digital Networks team.
She will report directly to executive VP of International Digital Networks Superna Kalle. Hemenez will lead Starzoplay’s international marketing efforts for Starzplay, available in more than 56 countries globally, working across brand, content marketing, media, partner marketing, social and acquisition to make Starzplay a successful global brand in partnership with the larger Starz organisation.
Commenting on the appointment, Kalle said: “I am excited to welcome Linnea to bring her expertise to our ever-expanding territory and partner portfolio.
“As we lean into strengthening our global brand presence in each country to scale Starzplay and drive subscription, Linnea’s keen understanding of branding, content, partners and digital strategy will be a key part of reaching success”.
Prior to joining Starz, Hemenez served as head of content marketing at Spotify. She also co-led the consumer video vertical for Facebook’s internal creative agency.
