The international Russian language news and current affairs channel Current Time can now be received as a free-to-air (FTA) service in Estonia.
Commenting on the development, Veiko Sepp, member of the management board at Levira, said: “For viewers interested in world events, the addition of Current Time to Estonian free circulation is good news, because the channel places great emphasis on what is happening in Central and Eastern Europe. The channel is a good addition to the ERR channels that have been in free circulation so far”.
Current Time is produced by Radio Free Europe/radio Liberty in collaboration with Voice of America. On air for 24 hours daily, it is broadcast through more than 200 partners in 22 countries, online at currenttime.tv and via satellite.
