Media Meet & Greet to return next month

May 21, 2021 12.24 Europe/London By Broadband TV News Correspondent

Media Meet & Greet has announced that its upcoming live networking event, on 10th June, will be free for all attendees.

The Media Meet & Greet event series offers a conversation-driven experience with 1:1 live video and opportunities for group discussion. It is based on the Deal Room event tech platform, known for its strength in providing a networking experience in real-time while also supporting full, multi-day online and physical events.

With major TV trade shows slated to return much later in 2021, what do we do in the meantime? The answer is Media Meet & Greet – the live networking event for the global media and TV technology community produced by Broadcast Projects in association with Broadband TV News.

Media Meet & Greet is building a persistent community of TV industry professionals who want to meet and talk in order to discover new opportunities for doing business.

“People are definitely connecting and doing business on the platform,” says event executive producer Janet Greco, of Broadcast Projects. “Enabling short, live video meetings on the day of the live event is proving highly useful”.

The event experience enables full transparency around attendees, what they offer and what they seek, together with a relevance matching algorithm provided by Deal Room. This addresses the difficult process of connecting with the right people, but those who participate do need to set up their meetings in advance.

According to a recent industry survey conducted by Media Meet & Greet, reconnecting with people, spontaneous conversation and meeting new contacts were the top answers when asked “What do you miss most about the physical trade show experience?”

Already in a short period of time, an engaged community of professionals, tired of zoom, are turning to Media Meet & Greet to satisfy their hunger for new conversations and connections.

The event platform offers support even after the event date has closed. People can pick-up conversations, chat and set up future meetings in future events. Chat remains an always-open channel, and once an account is created, all attendees have permanent access to the connections they have made before.

To register for live networking at the next event on 10th June, plan to register and set up your meetings in advance of the live event date. You´ll receive a mail when the platform opens. Sign up for event notices here. https://broadcastprojects.ck.page/ac7b882b5a
