Russia’s Rostelecom ended the first quarter with 10.8 million pay-TV subscribers.
Although this was unchanged on the total three months earlier, it was 3% more than the 10.5 million posted in the same period last year.
Of the 10.8 million subscribers, 6.2 million (+9% year-on-year) opted for the telco’s IPTV services.
Rostelecom as a whole had revenues of R131,958 million (€1,470.5 million) in the first quarter, a 9% increase on a year earlier.
Its OIBDA was R55,437 million (+18%) and net income R11,810 million (+58%).
