Christian Hindennach, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Sky Deutschland, is leaving the German pay-TV broadcaster to pursue new opportunities outside the company.
The former Unitymedia manager had joined Sky Deutschland on January 1, 2020. He will be succeeded by Kathryn Imrie, who will step in as Chief Customer Officer at Sky Deutschland in Munich on August 1, 2021.
Imrie comes from the Consumer Group at Sky UK, where she had overall responsibility for the Sky and Now Broadband P&Ls as well as brand positioning and customer growth for over six years.
Also new at Sky is Evelyn Rothblum, who has been EVP Advertising, Partnerships and Distribution since May 3, 2021, based in Milan and responsible for the Italian and German markets. Rothblum previously worked as Chief Business Officer at online games provider King.
Thomas Henkel, who was responsible for Advertising, Partnerships & Distribution in Germany at Sky, has left the company.
The appointment of Rothblum and Imrie follows a number of new hires, including Kristina Freymuth, who has taken over as head of legal, and Charly Classen, who heads up the entire sports division for Sky in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
With the appointments, Sky Deutschland says it wants to make its management team stronger and ensure more integrative cooperation within the Sky Group – with the aim of further accelerating growth in the streaming and entertainment market.
