The Czech Radio and TV Council (RRTV) has awarded FTV Prima a 12-year national terrestrial TV licence for a new thematic channel.
Known as Prima Star, it will be on air for between 16-24 hours daily, broadcast in Czech and focus on mostly dramatic productions and formats of various entertainment programmes.
Prima Star, which will also be distributed over the internet, will be Prima’s 10th channel.
