The Croatian incumbent Hrvatski Telekom (HT) saw a sharp increase in TV customer numbers in the year to March 31.
In its latest set of results, the company says it ended Q1 with a total of 542,000 in its home market, a 10.6% increase on 12 months earlier.
However, its TV ARPU fell by 2.5% to HRK82 (€10.8) over the same period.
Meanwhile, HT’s subsidiary in Montenegro saw its TV subscriber total fall by 1.1% to 71,000 in the year to March 31.
Although HT group’s total revenues in Q1 were, at HRK1,658 million, 3.6% higher than a year earlier and EBITDA after exceptional items up 5.3% to HRK646 million, its net profit slumped by 68% to HRK47 million.
