Swedish cablenet Com Hem is officially combining with that of Tele2.
The two companies officially merged on November 5, 2018, but until now the two have maintained separate identities.
A reworking of the Tele2 logo shows six coloured dots that will be familiar to subscribers of the 1.7 million-subscriber Com Hem.
“This is a strategic move we have been planning for several years. It is a big and important step, but also just the beginning of the journey we make together,” said Kjell Johnsen, President and CEO, Tele2, adding that by having a single brand it would be possible to decrease the number of internal systems and understand customer better.
A number of subscriber benefits are being introduced, rewarding subscribers to both brands with a doubling of mobile data and broadband speeds.
