BritBox has been added to Amazon Prime Video, giving the ITV-BBC streaming service access to over 90% of UK video-on-demand homes.
On payment of a monthly £4.99, BritBox subscribers will be able to access the channel directly from the Prime Video app across smart TVs, mobile devices, and game consoles, or online.
BritBox joins a line-up of over 70 live and on demand channels. It recently launched The Beast Must Die (pictured); its first original scripted drama starring Cush Jumbo and Jared Harris.
ITV is working with Telestream, which is preparing the service for onward transmission, as part of the migration of its media processing operations to the cloud.
