A downturn in the advertising market has led to a fall in revenues for Canal Plus in mainland France during the first quarter.
Revenues of €1,357 million were down slightly on 2020 as the broadcaster felt the impact of the pandemic.
However, according to a subscriber satisfaction barometer conducted between November and December 2020, Canal+ subscriber satisfaction in France is at its highest level since 2017.
Announcing its Q1 results, Vivendi did not give an update on subscriber numbers, but revenues from international operations grew by 1.6%.
