TV ad spend in Hungary amounted to HUF64 billion (€177.2 million) in 2020.
This, according to the country’s Advertising Association (MRSZ), was 3.8% lower than a year earlier.
The digital sector was the only one that saw any growth in 2020 (up 5.5% to HUF107.3 billion) and the media ad market as a whole contracted by 2.8% to HUF240 billion.
TV’s share of media ad spend in 2020 was 26.7%, down slightly on 27% a year earlier.
