Rafael Minasbekyan has left his position as head of the Gazprom-Media KIT group of companies.
Under his leadership, which began in 2015, KIT became one of the leading players in the Russian film industry, as well the production of premium serial content.
KIT also includes Red Media, a leading producer and distributor of thematic TV channels, especially in sports and movies, and the film distributor Central Partnership.
Commenting on the departure, Alexander Zharov, general director of Gazprom-Media holding, said: “I am very grateful to Rafael Mikhailovich for the tremendous work he has done to develop the film and TV business line in our holding. His services to Gazprom-Media and the entire domestic film industry are undeniable. Rafael Minasbekyan combines the competencies of an author, producer, screenwriter, manager and achieves excellent results in all these areas. I sincerely wish Rafael Mikhailovich success in all his future projects and endeavours”.
