Serhiy Logunov has been appointed the director of the News Group Ukraine (NGU), the news division of the Media Group Ukraine (MGU).
He will be responsible for the strategic development of all NMU information platforms and new information programme formats. Until recently, Logunov held the position of advisor to the director of MGU.
Commenting on the appointment, Logunov, said: “NGU faces ambitious and interesting tasks: strengthening leadership in the production of information content, citations and the amount of exclusive information, expanding the capabilities of the news service. Over the last year, the team has done a lot of work to bring to market a new brand Ukraine 24, which in a record time reached the top positions among news channels. Our task is to ensure the sustainable leadership of Ukraine 24 and information projects on the Ukraine channel, to strengthen existing formats and launch new ones. I believe that there is a bright path ahead to reach new heights”.
Dmytro Belyansky, member of the supervisory board of MGU, who is responsible for information at MGU, added: “We continue to attract the best to our team, which produces news releases Today for the leading national channel Ukraine and all the content of the information channel Ukraine 24, which took only a year from its inception to win the championship among competitors.
