Media technology company Amagi is to sponsor the Keynote Panel at the next Media Meet & Greet later this month.
Amagi, which provides cloud broadcast and targeted advertising platforms to TV networks and OTT providers, will be represented by co-founder Srinivasan Ka.
Also confirmed for the April 22 event, co-hosted by Broadband TV News, are Olivier Jollet, Head of Pluto TV, EMEA and Avner Ronen, the founder of Boxee, who’s now Vice President of product development for Samsung.
Moderated by leading new media and technology producer and strategist Chris Pfaff the session will tackle the ever increasing number of smaller players entering the OTT market, from the shortlived Quibi through to Passionflix, which is looking to create a new audience experience.
The panel will explore how major players package and distribute their content for on-demand and smart TV services, how they are signing deals and exploiting their own content libraries and the technology foundation necessary to make it happen.
