The upcoming MWE Networks channel Silver TV will now be known as Antena TV.
Wirtualne Media reports that this follows a name clash with another service named Silver TV, which is operated by Beata Borucka and calls itself the first interactive TV service in Poland aimed at viewers aged 50+.
It adds that Michal Winnicki, the owner of MWE Networks, has confirmed that its Silver TV will be renamed Antena TV.
Although there is as yet no launch date for Antena TV, it is expected to be distributed terrestrially on the first multiplex MUX-1, as well as by cable and satellite.
As previously reported by Broadband TV News>, the channel was awarded a DTT licence by the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) in February this year.
