Polsat secures Champions League

April 1, 2021 11.00 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

Poland’s Telewizja Polsat has secured all the rights the UEFA Champions League for the next three seasons (2021-2024).

They include pay-TV, FTA and internet, as well as the UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Youth League.

Commenting on the development, Stanislaw Janowski, chairman of the board at Telewizja Polsat, said: “We are proud that we have obtained the rights to viewers in Poland to show the UEFA Champions League for the next three years. We want to provide viewers with the most attractive content, and such rights are a real “champions league” of content that viewers will be able to watch in any way they can – both on TV and on the internet”.

Marian Kmita, sports director at Telewizja Poslat, added: “There are many different football games, but none electrify fans from almost all over the world like the Champions League. The Champions League attracts millions of people around the world every year, and importantly for many months. I am glad that the best club football in the world will be shown by the best television in Poland for many years, from the most modern sports studio and the best and most professional commentators”.
