BET UK is to debut on Channel 5 streaming platform My5 as it transitions to a digital-first brand in the UK as of March 8.
The iconic brand will also launch a dedicated BET channel on Pluto TV in the UK on 5 April, following recent launches in Brazil and France.
In addition to featuring a strong pipeline of BET US content on the free streaming services, BET UK will roll out a new slate of local UK originals including Celebrity Comfort Food, and social first series Black to the Future (working title) and We Do That, with more news to come. The brand also announced BET Amplifind UK which will showcase up and coming musical talent in the UK.

BET UK has been on My5 since 2018 and has continued to attract viewers, tripling its streams on the platform last year.
It launched on Sky in 2008, appearing on Virgin Media 5 years later.
