German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has moved its adult movie service Blue Movie to the internet.
The satellite channels Blue Movie, Blue Movie 1, Blue Movie 2 and Blue Movie 3 on Astra (19.2° East) have therefore been dropped, a Sky spokesperson confirmed to Broadband TV News.
Since March 11, 2021, Blue Movie content can only be accessed via the pre-installed Blue Movie 18+ app on the Sky Q receiver as well as on the web via www.bluemovie.net.
With the move, Sky Deutschland reacting to the increasing use of the Blue Movie on-demand offer, according to the spokesperson. “Thousands of titles are available on demand for our Sky customers in the online catalogue at any time. 24 hours per day – without fixed broadcast times.”
