The Lithuanian parliament (Seimas) has re-appointed Rimantas Bagdzevicius the chairman of the country’s Radio and Television Commission (LRTK) for a second four-year term.
Bagdzevicius, who is a well-known public figure in theatre, film and TV, as well as a PR specialist, has been at LRTK since 2010 and was previously its deputy chairman.
LRTK has 11 members and all are appointed for a term of four years.
They cannot be in post for more than two consecutive terms.
