Serhiy Logunov has been appointed an advisor to the director of Media Group Ukraine (MGU).
In his new role he will focus on the further development, of the national TV channel Ukraine 24. He will also take part in updating the line of information formats that News Group Ukraine produces for the Ukraine channel – Segodnya news.
Commenting on the appointment, Yevhen Bondarenko, director of MGU, said: “We aim to achieve long-term market leadership for Ukraine 24. Serhiy’s experience in solving problems will allow us to do it faster and more efficiently. During the year, the team achieved great success: for many viewers, the channel became one of the main sources of information, a platform where you can learn about all the diversity of opinions on key issues of political and social life in the country. But, of course, we see new horizons for development, and we have very real, but very ambitious plans for the development of the entire News Group Ukraine. That is why it is important for us to involve such professionals as Serhiy Logunov in the team”.
