MagentaTV app now on Apple TV; adds Disney+

March 25, 2021 12.38 Europe/London By Julian Clover

Deutsche Telekom’s Magenta TV is now available on Apple TV devices. An app has been added to Apple TV from the 4th generation onwards.

Customers will be able to access over 50 channels in the HD format alongside catch-up services from commercial and public broadcasters.

The Instant Restart, Timeshift and up to 50 hours of cloud recording are also available for Apple TV viewers.

MagentaTV customers can watch their favourite shows, simultaneously, on up to five devices and three parallel streams.

Disney+ is now available as ana pp on the Mediareceiver (models 201, 401 and 601) and the MagentaTV Box.

In addition to the monthly add-on option, Disney+ can also be booked in on a 12-month contract for €5 per month from 7 April.
