ClipMyHorse.TV to launch in Germany via Sky and HD+

March 25, 2021 22.30 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger

ClipMyHorse.TV, a new pay-TV channel for fans of equestrian sports, will launch in Germany on April 2, 2021.

The linear 24-hour service will be available in HD resolution in the trendSports subscription package on the Astra satellite system (19.2° East) offered by pay-TV platform operators Sky Deutschland and HD+. Distribution will take place on transponder 30 (11.656 V, SR 22.000, FEC 2/3).

The channel is jointly operated by ClipMyHorse.TV Operations GmbH and Sportdigital TV Sende- und Produktions GmbH. The main shareholders behind ClipMyHorse.TV are the entrepreneur Klaus Christian Plönzke and Ludger Beerbaum, four-time Olympic show jumping champion.

“The launch of ClipMyHorse.TV is another important step to expand our offer and to now be able to market a third channel with a large fan base and highly attractive target groups in addition to Sportdigital Fußball and EDGEsport,” Sportdigital managing director Gisbert Wundram said in Hamburg.

The schedule covers all topics related to equestrian sports, such as dressage and show jumping, horse breeding or daily training. There are also live events with the competitions of international dressage and show jumping competitions. ClipMyHorse.TV also provides stories and insights from the equestrian world in documentaries and reports.
