According to the company, this follows an agreement with Red Media, which is part of Gazprom Media, and also covers other channels distributed by Red Media. It adds that the agreements reached by the parties will allow the operator to retain the cost of services at the 2020 level.
Commenting on the development, Nikolai Orlov, Deputy Director General for Content Policy at Tricolor, said: “We managed to come to a mutually beneficial agreement with partners. It was important for Tricolor to preserve for its viewers, of whom we have about 40 million throughout the country, the opportunity to watch the main football events in Russia and the world”.
