M7 Group has extended the distribution of Love Nature and Travelxp to Hungary and Romania.
As a result, the two channels are now available 24/7 and in HD on the M7 platforms Direct One (Hungary) and Focus Sat (Romania) at 1 degree West.
Travelxp and Love Nature are already carried via the M7 platforms in the Benelux (Canal Digitaal and Online.nl, TV Vlaanderen) and Skylink in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Furthermore, M7 Platform Services provides both channels with third party satellite distribution services within the Europe-wide Astra 23.5 East footprint. As part of the new distribution agreement with Travelxp, the Benelux & CEE distribution agreement and the M7 Platform Services agreement have also been renewed.
Commenting on the development, Sumant Bahl, MD, Travelxp, Europe & Africa, said: “M7 gave Travelxp its first major break in 2018, when Travelxp launched in Europe and since then the relationship has only grown leaps & bound and we look forward to further strengthen and grow it in future. Renewing our existing agreement and launching in Romania and Hungary gives Travelxp new destinations and we are delighted that just like Travelxp’s content quality is growing, so is the distribution and M7 is an integral part of the same. We are extremely happy and thankful”.
Jade Anderson-Busby, sales & marketing manager, EMEA, Global Networks, Blue Ant Media, added: “We’re delighted to be introducing Love Nature and its premium line-up of localised natural history content to the subscribers of Focus Sat and Direct One”.
Bill Wijdeveld, VP platform content services at M7 Group, said: “We are very happy to extend our long-standing partnership with Travelxp and Love Nature into new M7 territories and look forward to a fruitful journey over the coming years. Especially with the current restrictions on traveling, both channels add great value by providing our subscribers with a taste for great new travel destinations, and the beauty of nature and wildlife around the globe”.
