The number of FTTH connections in Spain reached 11.6 million at the end of January.
This, according to the latest data published by the regulator CNMC, was 1.3 million more than a year earlier.
At the same time, the number of DSL lines fell by 0.7 million over the same period.
CNMC notes that the three main operators Movistar, Orange (including Jazztel) and Vodafone (including Ono) accounted for 82.1% of all fixed lines as of the end of January.
