A new streaming service named Gonet.tv has officially made its debut in Poland.
It follows the addition of what is the 100th TV channel to its offer.
According to Telepolis, Gonet.tv describes itself as an “intelligent internet TV service” that can be accessed without installing any DTH or cable reception equipment.
Aside from the 100 TV channels, 61 of which are Polish, its offer includes 1,246 films, series, documentaries and programmes in a VOD library and 25,632 radio stations, 600 of which are in the Polish language.
Significantly, Gonet.tv is the only platform that employs the H.265 codec, allowing for viewing of HD services at internet speeds as low as 3Mbps.
The service is accessible through web browsers, as well as iOS and Android apps and 4K Android TV boxes. It costs PLN29 (€6.32) a month to receive following an PLN1 for the first month, and the Gonet.tv box costs PLN269 to buy.
Gonet.tv is a Czech company that was established in 2016 and currently operates streaming services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia under the name Lepsi TV.
It is also present in Croatia.
