The SPI/FilmBox Turkish drama channel Dizi will make its debut in Poland in April.
Wirtualne Media reports that it will initially be distributed by the cable operators Vectra and Multimedia Polska, with other providers set to follow.
Quoting Boguslaw Kisielewski, president of SPI International’s Kino Polska TV, it adds that Dizi is “the group’s response to the phenomenon of Turkish productions in Poland”.
Kisielewski also said that the channel will only show carefully selected titles that are very popular among viewers around the world and taking new markets by storm.
Dizi will be on air for 24 hours daily in HD and will carry commercials from May onwards.
