German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland is making its streaming service Sky Ticket available on Amazon Fire TV devices in Germany.
From today, the Sky Ticket app can be used on the Fire TV stick (2nd and 3rd generation), Fire TV stick lite and Fire TV stick 4K. Further Fire TV models are to follow in the course of the year.
“With the ability to stream Sky Ticket on Amazon Fire TV devices, we are fulfilling a very important customer request. I am delighted that we can give even more people access to our Sky Ticket service in this way,” said Charli Kumar, Senior Vice President of Sky Ticket.
With the move, Sky and Amazon are expanding their collaboration. In December 2020, the Amazon Prime Video app launched on Sky Ticket and Sky Q.
